About us

Comexa Europa is a salad/vegetable export company that was established in 2005. Based in Spain we have direct contacts with growers and Co-operatives in the Almeria and Murcia regions. The aim for Comexa over the past few years was to find individual high class growers that would grow specifically for us where we would be recognized by the introduction of our own brand in the Market place. This has now been achieved and the "COMEXA" brand is now available. Our customer base consists of UK Packers for supermarket business, processors, wholesale markets and caterers.

Graham Cousins

Graham has spent all his working years in the fresh produce industry, yet even before that as a young boy he had a job working in a fruit shop in Chelsea where he lived. His apprenticeship began at the age of 16 in New Covent Garden Market where he spent 16 years working for various companies. He then decided to cross over to the importing side of the business where he spent the next 7 years working for a well known Canary Island tomato importer, learning the art of import & export.

In 2004 Graham teamed up with Juan Menoyo to form an import company based in the UK but soon realised that he needed to be in Spain to drive the business forward. So in 2005 Graham and his family moved to Spain and Comexa Europa S.L. was formed.

Juan Menoyo

Juan has been in the industry for over 20 years and has formed superb relationships and an understanding of the needs and requirements of our producers. He is very well respected in the Almeria province and works alongside our dedicated growers whilst guiding them in the direction needed to be able to continue supplying and fulfilling their commitments to our array of customers, ranging from the major supermarkets and packers, to the smaller secondary wholesalers and retailers.

Due to Juan's continued dedication, Comexa Europa and their team of producers have managed to thrive throughout the global crisis and grow year on year.
